Joglo House at Muntilan City of Jogjakarta

I take this photograph in rural of Muntilan area, Jogjakarta. This building is not dwelt. If we look from the architecture side, this traditional building is a mixture building type between traditional with modern colonial taste. The traditional Joglo building which is original, applies wood solid wall and the ornament used woodcarving. While this building applies a brick wall and ornament iron as the console. Permanent building scale geometry of proportional and seen respects. Mixing of this building type model estimated steps into Indonesia when a period of colonization Netherlands colonial. Because has a same high culture, hence the change doesn't experience a distortion to destroying the tradition. The beauty of Joglo building lays in settled condition of proportional form, construction systems of stable wood and depth space can be applied kinds of function. Other excess, this building can be collaboration with other notching like a minimalist house model or contemporary. When this building has been collaboration, this is remain to be well established at its form typical and increasingly gives positive energy at overall of the building.

Muntilan belongs to Magelang Regency, Central Java, not Yogyakarta Special Region.
